About the Practice
Coastal Veterinary Clinic has proudly served the Lowcountry for over 30 years. Dr. Ben Parker founded the practice in 1993, and today, we’re a thriving small animal practice led by a team of five veterinarians and a 15-member support staff. Our current veterinary team includes:
- Dr. Ben Parker (Auburn '89)
- Dr. Cindy Rigg (Virginia-Maryland '91)
- Dr. Michael Lieberman (Georgia '20)
- Dr. Michelle Martin (Glasgow '13)
- Dr. Katie Black (OSU '03)
Our fully equipped 4,000 sq. ft. hospital underwent a complete renovation in 2020 and includes:
- Ample treatment space
- Dedicated surgery suite
- Two wet tables for dentistry
- IDEXX in-house lab
- A wide array of modern clinical equipment
We work closely with Carolina Vet Critical Care, an after-hours emergency clinic that operates independently from our wellness practice. This means no emergency, overnight, or holiday shifts are required—offering our veterinarians peace of mind while still ensuring top-tier patient care.
