Your Role:
The District Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing a team of sales representatives within a designated region. Key duties include developing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, analyzing market trends, and leading a sales team to success. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
- Create and implement strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals and sales targets
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify business opportunities
- Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure targets are met
- Manage sales budgets and ensure cost-effective operations
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations
- Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
- High levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in leading successful sales teams
- Waste Management or a related industry experience preferred
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
