Position Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Director—a proactive, strategic leader who can develop and execute digital initiatives while managing and mentoring a growing team. This full-time, in-office role based in Beverly, MA is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys wearing both strategic and creative hats.

You’ll be responsible for driving brand visibility and lead generation across all digital channels, including organic social media, email and text campaigns, paid media (Google & Meta), SEO, content distribution, and community partnerships. In addition to strategy and execution, you’ll also create original photo and video assets that bring the Coastal brand story to life.


As our digital presence expands, you’ll play a key role in building and scaling a high-performing marketing team, bringing on the right talent and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to align marketing efforts with business growth goals while overseeing omni-channel execution, vendor relationships, and performance metrics.


You will be responsible for:

  • Creating and amplifying content through organic social media, email, SMS, and digital advertising
  • Managing outreach through chambers of commerce, community organizations, and local partnerships
  • Producing compelling photo and video content to support campaigns and brand storytelling
  • Overseeing and expanding our customer loyalty program, including reviews, referrals, and rewards
  • Tracking and optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure measurable marketing success

Key Responsibilities



Digital Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine a data-driven digital marketing strategy focused on lead generation, brand awareness, and audience engagement through SEO, PPC, email, SMS, and content partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align marketing plans with overall business objectives and seasonal initiatives.
  • Manage internal and external resources, prioritize initiatives, and ensure consistent execution across all digital channels.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, vendor relationships, campaign KPIs, and performance dashboards.

Social Media Marketing (Organic & Paid)

  • Plan, create, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn using Hootsuite and native platform tools.
  • Create branded assets using your own video, photography, and user-generated content (UGC).
  • Actively engage with audiences through comments, DMs, and Facebook Groups to nurture leads and build brand loyalty.
  • Stay current with platform trends (e.g., reels, AR filters, AI tools, UGC strategies) and incorporate them into campaigns.

Asset Creation: Photos & Videos

  • Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content from job sites, customer testimonials, product installations, and team moments.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content for use across social, email, and website platforms.
  • Maintain a well-organized digital library of branded assets for use in campaigns and promotions.
  • Collaborate with internal team members or external creatives to scale production while ensuring consistency and brand integrity.

Email & Text Campaigns

  • Write, design, and deploy email and SMS campaigns via Constant Contact to promote seasonal offers, partnerships, and nurture workflows.
  • Personalize messaging through segmentation and monitor key metrics such as open rates, CTR, and conversion rates.
  • Conduct A/B testing and use campaign data to continually optimize subject lines, layouts, and calls to action.

Content Marketing & Distribution

  • Distribute blog posts, video content, social graphics, and promotional assets across owned and partner platforms, including Google My Business, chamber communications (see below), and partner newsletters.
  • Collaborate with internal team and community partners to expand content reach and reinforce Coastal’s brand positioning.

Community Partnerships & Chamber Outreach

  • Build and maintain relationships with chambers of commerce, nonprofit organizations, and community-based partners.
  • Ensure Coastal is regularly featured in email newsletters (free and paid), bulletins, and co-branded social campaigns.
  • Coordinate and support creative submissions for partner marketing opportunities.

Customer Loyalty Program

  • Manage and grow Coastal’s loyalty efforts, including review generation, referral programs, and product-based reward systems.
  • Promote the program across digital platforms and evaluate its impact on customer retention and repeat business.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Track KPIs across social, email, paid media, and content channels to evaluate performance and campaign effectiveness.
  • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Hootsuite, Constant Contact) to generate reports, guide strategy, and inform leadership.
  • Continuously test and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and lead quality.
  • Increase qualified leads and booked appointments
  • Improve ROI on all digital campaigns
  • Track progress across lead generation, engagement, and conversion goals

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in home services, B2C, or a similar performance-driven environment
  • 4 years experience with management & leadership skills
  • Proven ability to develop and execute digital strategy, manage paid campaigns, and oversee content production
  • Proficiency in:
    • Social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite)
    • Email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact)
    • Design software (Canva and Adobe Creative Suite)
    • Advertising Platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads)
    • Analytics platforms (Google Analytics)
  • Strong skills in writing, editing, and visual storytelling
  • Highly organized, proactive, and passionate about team building, innovation, and delivering measurable results with autonomous decisions.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Beverly, MA (remote work not available)
  • Available between the hours of 8-5 Monday through Friday, 8-2pm Saturdays (when required)
  • Self-Directed, exceptional time management skills and able to adapt to changes quickly

Compensation

  • $125,000-$180,000 base Bonus Structure benefits
  • The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits.
