Medical Laboratory Technician (Lead)

Coastal Women's Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Tech to perform critical lab testing and ensure accurate, timely results that support patient care. In this role, you'll:

• Conduct chemical analyses of bodily fluids to detect normal and abnormal components.
• Ensure accuracy and quality control in test results, reporting critical findings immediately.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and lab protocols while documenting patient data.
• Occasionally perform venipuncture and oversee specimen collection procedures.
• Manage lab equipment, supplies, and inventory to keep operations running smoothly.
• Train new employees, oversee staff, and participate in team meetings.
• Complete lab reports and collaborate with the Lab Manager monthly.

Education: Bachelor's degree in medical technology and laboratory science or registered as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or equivalent.

Experience: 1-3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in clinic setting.
