Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and physical education, with the ability to educate and inspire young athletes. This role involves coaching gymnasts ranging from 5-high school. Focus is on progression and proper technique, promoting physical fitness, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Responsibilities
- Utilize pre-made lesson plans to implement training programs tailored to the skill levels of individual gymnasts.
- Teach fundamental gymnastics skills including tumbling, balance beam, uneven bars and vaulting techniques.
- Provide constructive feedback to athletes to enhance their performance and confidence.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a clean and organized gym environment.
- Monitor the progress of each gymnast and adjust training methods as necessary.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages teamwork, discipline, and respect.
- Organize and lead practice sessions, including warm-up routines and cool-down exercises.
- Participate in staff-education and training sessions as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in gymnastics coaching or participation at a competitive level is preferred.
- Knowledge of physical education principles and child development.
- Ability to climb, lift, and demonstrate various gymnastics skills safely.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate children effectively.
- A passion for promoting health and fitness within a gymnastics and tumbling facility.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
