Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Employee to join our team. This role involves assembling component parts, ensuring quality standards, and working with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow written instructions accurately.
Essential Functions:
- Read and follow work order router instructions to ensure proper assembly.
- Perform visual inspections to identify nonconforming parts.
- Use hands and fingers for detailed assembly work.
- Operate basic tools for assembling power cords, wire harnesses, and related products.
- Work independently to complete assigned assembly tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assemble components as per work orders and data sheets.
- Complete tasks, functions, and special projects in a timely manner.
- Communicate job status and report any defects.
- Conduct 100% visual inspection of parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have visual acuity for detailed work.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.80 - $16.31 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
