The Operations Supervisor is responsible for driving the retail store business and customer experience to achieve established goals through hands-on leadership and contributions. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing various operational aspects of the business, including processes that enhance the guest experience, inventory control procedures, supply procurement, back and front of house organization, and product placement.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Adheres to and enforces all city and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; educates the team and ensures compliance.
- Create, implement, and manage restock processes that include both sales floor and backstock organization, stock level maintenance, and FIFO best practices.
- Executes inventory control functions including cycle counts, intake, year-end physical inventories, and any other necessary function (as applicable).
- Oversee all retail cash management processes including reconciliation, deposits, audits, and point of sale (POS) training.
- Follow all METRC policy procedures to stay compliant with state and local requirements.
- Manage the supply ordering process and work with appropriate departments on purchase requisitions.
- Operate as an effective leader at all times and demonstrate a strong sales floor presence.
- Manage assigned Division of Responsibility (DOR).
- Inspire and influence: lead by example and drive positive results by building an excellent guest and team experience leveraging the Best-in-Class Experience as your guide.
- Oversee the daily sales ledger, shift logs, and KPI tracking and reporting.
- Perform store opening and closing procedures including completing and reviewing AM/PM Checklists and all applicable logs.
- Proactively meet established sales goals and other KPIs and hold the team accountable to drive positive results.
- Maintain professionalism in your appearance, attitude, and communication.
- Participate in leadership meetings by presenting department updates, identifying opportunities, providing solutions, and offering feedback.
- Manage the digital guest experience to ensure consistency between online experience and receipt of order.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Working Environment
- This position will work in an indoor facility with controlled temperatures. There may be exposure to bright lighting, loud equipment, and airborne particles. This position requires working in proximity to guests and staff.
- While this position is primarily based on-site at the retail location, some travel may be required occasionally.
- Environment can be incredibly fast-paced and the ability to deal with high-stress situations is a must.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of retail management experience.
- Entry-level knowledge of cannabis products and related vocabulary is preferred but not required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, comfortability with various software and databases.
- Ability to multitask prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.

- Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Job Requirements
- The Operations Supervisor must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
