What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asphalt Roller Operator position at Coastline Contracting, Inc.?
- Individuals with asphalt paving experience encouraged to apply
- Hiring experienced asphalt roller operators
- Demonstrate ability to operate asphalt roller (steel wheel, rubber tire) to compress and give a finished surface to cooling asphalt. Experience with rolling patterns to achieve compacting and smoothness under changing temperatures a plus
- May oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to the equipment
- May guide and direct dump trucks while backing up to the machine hopper
- Must have reliable transportation to all jobs at all times
- Must have valid driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Paving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
