In this role, you will be responsible for operating grading equipment to prepare construction sites, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Operate grading equipment to achieve precise site preparation and leveling.
- Perform routine maintenance on grading machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project specifications.
- Monitor job site conditions and adjust operations as necessary for safety and efficiency.
- Assist in the training of new operators on grading techniques and equipment use.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating graders or similar heavy machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
