The team at Coastline is looking to hire a Corporate Rental Sales Manager to round out the team.
Purpose
Manages the rental sales team for the entire organization to drive rental sales performance, growth and collaborative business development. Responsible for all Rental sales metrics and budgets for the complete goods Rental department. Attracts, retains, and effectively coaches Rental management and sales personnel to drive growth in rental market share and equipment utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement Rental strategy aligned with business values and goals.
- Sales Process Management: Manage and optimize Rental Department sales processes to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- Budgeting: Set annual goals and budgets in collaboration with leadership.
- Fleet and Inventory Oversight: Achieve fleet utilization targets and oversee inventory management.
- Customer Experience Strategy: Enhance customer acquisition and relationship processes to maintain dealership loyalty.
- Personnel Management: Advise on recruitment, staffing, and employee development for the Rental Department. Attract, retain, and develop Rental Management personnel.
- Travel: Visit branches on a regular basis, approximately 2 weeks of travel per month.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
- Experience: 5 years of managing a team of Rental Sales professionals.
- Leadership: Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group and inspire others.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles relative to Rental Department operations.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in oral and written communication.
- Technical Skills: Ability to utilize Deere Rental computer applications and tools
- Reporting: Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with John Deere equipment and competitors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Physical Requirements:
- Driving: Must be able to drive and travel in a vehicle. For the purposes of driving, must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical Conditions: Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
