Job Overview
We are looking for a Driver Recruiter with strong phone skills to join our trucking company. In this role, you make cold calls and utilize search engines to locate potential drivers and inform them of the exceptional benefits we have to offer our employees. You will also pre-screen these applicants to ensure they meet DOT and company standards before scheduling their orientation and road tests. Our ideal candidate is also comfortable using social media platforms in their recruiting efforts.
Duties
- Locate potential employees who meet DOT and company standards
- Pre-screen potential applicants
- Inform applicants about our operations and the benefits we offer
- Schedule driver orientations and road tests
- Utilize social media platforms and other search engines to generate leads
- Develop and oversee recruiting or referral programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Recruiting experience
- Trucking or transportation experience a plus
- Communication skills
- Basic computer skills
