Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment, ensuring efficient movement of materials within the facility. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of operations, supporting shipping and receiving processes, and contributing to a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and cherry pickers, to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate order picking and inventory management.
- Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and managing stock levels efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving items as needed to support warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology for inventory management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols in the workplace.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
