Logistics Equipment Operator

CERTIFIED FORKLIFT OPERATOR- Must have certification.

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our facility. This role is critical to ensuring timely shipping and receiving operations, as well as maintaining an organized warehouse.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Move products throughout the warehouse using RF scanners to track inventory accurately.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other heavy equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly stored.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
• Proficiency in operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts; experience with cranes is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 lbs) safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A valid forklift operator certification is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Overtime
