Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of maintenance procedures, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Perform residential painting and other finishing tasks as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs.
- Fabricate parts and components as necessary to support maintenance activities.
- Operate logic controllers for automated systems maintenance.
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and ability to troubleshoot automated systems is desirable.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Welding skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Experience supervising others in a maintenance setting is beneficial.

Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
