Job Overview
We are looking for four maintenance technicians.
- Electrician tech, (electrical helper, NCCR, journey man, master electrician, VFD drive experience, basic wire pulling, termination, read program language and P&ID’s)
- Instrumentation tech, (basic I/P knowledge, troubleshooting PLC’s, HMI connectivity, program language navigator, read program language and P&ID’s)
- Millwright tech, (rotating equipment alignment, high knowledge of gears, pulleys, belt conveyors, lifting hoist, read program language and P&ID’s)
- Maintenance helper, ( ability to understand basic mechanics, read P&ID’s, basic knowledge of general tools)
All with experience working a rotating maintenance schedule, experience in preventative maintenance programs, maintenance projects and a general understanding of permit, lock tag and try, planning and scheduling maintenance processes.
Packaging equipment experience (W&H, Beumer) a plus..
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
- Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and repair logic controllers and other automated systems to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with supervising teams or projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in using CMMS for tracking maintenance tasks and schedules.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
- Experience working with logic controllers is a plus.
- Ability to weld or perform metal fabrication tasks is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to safety practices and protocols in all maintenance activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
