Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be capable of performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Conduct electrical repairs, including troubleshooting and fixing electrical issues.
- Weld components as necessary to maintain equipment integrity.
- Use an Ohmmeter to test electrical circuits and ensure proper functionality.
- Carry out residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Interpret schematics for troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with facility users or clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in electrical repairs and understanding of electrical schematics.
- Ability to weld and perform basic metal fabrication tasks is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.
