Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Package Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating various machinery, particularly stamping presses. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to safety and operational standards. With at least 1 year Experience.
EXPECTED WORK SHIFTS:
12hr Shifts rotation days and nights, Currently two weeks days, two weeks nights
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Beumer & W & H packaging equipment
- Perform Basic Maintenance
- Housekeeping pre and post packaging
- Safely Operate PIT's. Power Industrial Trucks (Forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Handle consumable product for packaging, (Wood pallets, FFS films, slip sheets, hood materials)
- Basic Computer Skills (Excel, Word, etc)
- Operate and monitor stamping presses to produce components according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate parts as needed, utilizing welding techniques and machining processes.
- Handle materials effectively, ensuring proper loading and unloading of components.
- Utilize logic controllers and Fanuc systems for automated processes.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline production workflows and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and quality checks.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Line Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with CAD software for design purposes is preferred.
- Experience in materials handling, including safe lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of machining processes and welding practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating initiative.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
