Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Technician to join our quality assurance team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection processes. This role involves working with various precision measuring instruments and quality systems to uphold our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
Duties
- Conduct inspections using vision inspection systems to assess product quality and compliance with specifications FDA & USDA Regulations .
- Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and utilize software such as Calypso for precise measurements.
- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to QA/QC protocols and quality management practices.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of all quality assurance activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality systems to improve operational efficiency and product reliability.
- Participate in root cause analysis for any non-conformance issues, providing insights for corrective actions.
- Support the fabrication process by ensuring that all materials meet the required specifications before production.
Experience
- Proven experience as a QA Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality management principles and practices is essential.
- Experience with operating vision inspection systems, coordinate measuring machines, and utilizing tools such as calipers and micrometers is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, enabling effective identification of defects or deviations from standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a strong focus on individual responsibilities.
