Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Wedding Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management and/or hospitality, with the ability to create unforgettable experiences for couples on their special day. As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of wedding planning, from initial consultations to the final execution of the event. Your organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively will be key in ensuring that every detail is meticulously planned and executed.
Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for their wedding.
- Develop comprehensive wedding plans that include venue selection, vendor coordination, and event timelines.
- Manage contracts with vendors such as caterers, florists, photographers, and entertainment.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of the wedding day, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule.
- Assist in company event marketing efforts to promote services and attract potential clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process, addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
- Upsell additional services or products that may enhance the overall wedding experience.
- Coordinate fundraising events if applicable, to support client needs or charitable causes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in events management or hospitality is preferred, but open to finding the right fit in someone that wants to learn and grow with the company.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in upselling services or products is a plus.
- Familiarity with banquet operations and event marketing strategies is desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours- evenings as required by client schedules, and weekends are a must.
