The Senior Product Designer for the Creative Center team is responsible for leading and delivering user-centred, scalable design solutions. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, on-time design deliverables that align with business goals and user needs. You will drive iterative improvements in usability, accessibility, and design processes, while mentoring junior team members and championing design best practices. As a senior designer, you will also contribute to optimizing the agreed ways of working to enhance team collaboration and output quality.
\n- Design Leadership
- Lead the design of foundational and advanced features, ensuring designs meet usability, accessibility, and scalability requirements specific to client needs.
- Produce high quality artifacts at every stage of the design process, from low-fidelity wireframes and user flows to high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Own and drive the refinement of user flows and task flows to optimize navigation and reduce friction in key workflows.
- Collaboration & process optimization
- Actively collaborate with Vas, engineering, and QA to ensure seamless alignment between design and development, with a focus on feedback loops.
- Play a key role in facilitating alignment on design decisions by leading design reviews, participating in refinement sessions, and contributing to prioritization discussions.
- Iteration & QA
- Lead the feedback and iteration process across all design stages, incorporating stakeholder and client feedback into deliverables.
- Conduct thorough Design QA post development to ensure high fidelity designs are implemented accurately, logging discrepancies and resolving issues collaboratively with engineering and QA teams.
- Mentorship
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture by sharing insights, encouraging learning, and advocating for design excellence.
- Experience: 5 years in UX/UI/Product design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex, user-centred solutions for bespoke or enterprise level products.
- Tools: Expertise in Figma and familiarity with Agile workflows and tools (e.g. Jira)
- Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams, including with Bas, engineering, and QA.
- Accessibility: Understanding of WCAG standards and their application in design.
- Leadership: Experience mentoring designers and driving process improvements within a design team.
- Design excellence: Deliver 100% of design assets on time for planned releases, meeting client requirements and adhering to agreed workflows.
- Collaboration: Achieve strong cross-functional collaboration, as evidenced by positive stakeholder feedback on the design-to-development workflow.
- Mentorship Impact: Junior designers demonstrate improved skills and confidence, contributing effectively to the team’s output.
- Usability & Accessibility: Drive measureable improvements in usability & accessibility by integrating WCAG aligned design principles. Track and achieve a significant improvement in accessibility adherence during UAT compared to the baseline, with a focus on creating awareness and alignment across design, development, and delivery teams.
- Process Improvements: Successfully implement at least two process optimizations annually to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency.
- Adaptability: Excels in iterative environments, balancing client-specific requirements with broader design principles.
- Attention to detail: Maintains a high level of precision and quality in all deliverables, ensuring usability and scalability.
- Collaboration Champion: Proactively aligns with cross-functional teams to solve challenges and enhance workflows.
- Process Innovator: Identifies inefficiencies and implements solutions that improve team output and collaboration.
- Mentorship & leadership: Guides and inspires team members to excel in their roles and contribute meaningfully to team goals.
