*2nd Shift Position: 3pm - 11pm, Mon thru Fri
*All Training is completed during 1st shift hours (7am - 3:00pm, Mon - Fri)
*Shift Differential once training is complete and individual transitions to 2nd shift hours
Position Overview:
The primary purpose of the Production Utility Operator is to provide support to the Sauk Facility Production Department. This support is provided by ensuring the essential job functions of this position are completed as part of the daily and/or weekly schedule.
Essential Job Functions:
- Cleans Sauk Facility Warehouse and Production areas.
- Label pails and bags for packaging.
- Assists in staging packaging materials.
- Assists with material movement, as needed.
- Assists with cleaning of facility equipment and/or suites.
- Lifts/Carries/Pushes/Pulls objects weighing up to 55 lbs.
- Employees at CPI work with and/or are familiar with the GMP requirements for Food, Dietary Supplements, Pharmaceuticals, or other elements of each.
- Depending on the position, the employee will be aware of Halal and/or Kosher requirements.
- Follows all CPI safety practices, policies, and procedures.
- Additional projects as assigned.
Education/Skills/Knowledge Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Possesses good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and co-workers.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 55 lbs.
