Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Server is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patrons.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items is beneficial.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
