Join our team at Cobalt Benefits Group and start an exciting new career in employee benefits solutions. As a Benefits Enrollment Representative, you’ll play an important role in helping us offer customized, self-funded insurance options to our clients and members.
The Benefits Enrollment Representative will be responsible for assisting with new group implementation from beginning to end, including group set-up, enrollment, and auditing. The Representative will work closely with internal customers with a wide range of enrolment-related inquiries. A successful Representative is a self-motivated multi-tasker, with superior written and verbal communication skills, who works well individually and as an integral part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The position requires excellent client relations skills, a high level of accuracy, and the desire to work cooperatively with others to ensure superior service to our participants.
Responsibilities:
- Assist external and internal customers with enrollment-related enquiries.
- Assist in New Group Implementation.
- Audit Records.
- Review and process enrollment questions and appeals per the Plan Document.
- Provide excellent client service.
- Communicate with outside vendors.
- Process open enrollment.
- Process enrollments via paper, online or electronic file.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with web-based processing software platforms.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
- Experience in healthcare administration preferred but not required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Hybrid work availability may be offered based on meeting key performance metrics.
- Prolonged periods of sitting may be required.
- Regular use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse is necessary; reasonable accommodations will be provided upon request.
- Employees should ensure an ergonomically appropriate desk and chair setup.
- Comfort with being on camera for virtual meetings (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
