Summary
Design and fabricate components to ensure repeatability and safe work practices with the build or installation process. (ie. guides, fixtures, carts, platforms etc..)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain accurate drill/cut fixtures for all areas of component installation
- Fabricate guides/fixtures for stringer and floor locations
- Assist with new product launch concerning new drilling and cutting fixtures
- Maintain color coding and labeling of all fixtures
- Coordinate with production leadership and engineering on fixture changes
- Order and maintain parts inventory necessary to build jigs and fixtures
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Qualifications: Must have welding experience; Milling machine and lamination experience preferred
Valid Tennessee drivers license; must be able to obtain a Powered Industrial Truck Certification
