Lead Field Manager role at a well-established Heating & Plumbing Contractor, specializing in installations of heating systems for large scale commercial buildings. Working closely with the Foreman, this is a on-site management position, which will assume responsibility for multiple $5M - $25M projects, including new construction, retrofits, CHP and boiler installations, and repairs.Location : Projects throughout NYC and the five boroughs125,000 - 150,000 base salary car allowance, benefits, bonusJob overview : Manage installation and boiler repair projects from inception to completion.Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee installation crews and subcontractors to ensure project quality, efficiency and completion
- Execute installations according to construction documents (drawings, specs, manuals)
- Attend site meetings with Architects, Customers, Engineers and City Agencies
- Consult with design engineers and subcontractors to assist in planning and organizing
- Establish and maintain excellent client relationships
- Train customers on equipment operation upon completion of the projectRequired Experience :
- 5-years of experience in commercial boilers and knowledgeable in : Steam heating systems, hydronic heating systems, pumps, fuel code, plumbing and electrical.
- Must be detail oriented, team player and have good follow-up skills.
- Must have effective written / oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred but not required : Experience with Cogeneration (CHP), Chillers and General HVACDiscipline(s) : Construction & DevelopmentJob type : Full Time
