A Global Advisory firm wants to add a Treasury Manager to its NYC Team. The Treasury Manager will meet client deliverables, develop bespoke treasury solutions, and expand current business relationships. This position requires a deep understanding of Treasury management, financial sponsors, and client-facing experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive and oversee the management and execution of Treasury engagements.
- Cultivate and develop relationships with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies & corporates.
- Building and improving models, datasets, analytical frameworks, and other scalable consulting assets will increase Treasury Solutions' effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assisted in developing pitches and proposals and closing engagement wins.
- Identify, build, and grow new and existing business relationships with financial sponsors, portfolio companies & corporates.
- Assist in advisory engagements.
- Lead and work closely with Treasury analysts to deliver client engagements, including data gathering, analysis, and recommendations.
- Conduct desk research to gather secondary research in support of engagements.
- Work with panel members to deliver client engagements Authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
- Oversee panel members and internal staff on engagements coaching to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure work products exhibit rigorous methodology, high quality, and are communicated effectively.
- Automate the delivery of advisory solutions.
- Collaborate with the Treasury Solutions team to develop and manage the automation of our treasury solutions.
- Work with third-party technology partners and tools to deliver workflow enablement, business rule-driven process orchestration and governance, automation, and decision support analytics.
EXPERIENCE & CHARACTERISTICS
- Experience understanding, assessing, and reacting to client needs and creating solutions for treasury challenges.
- 5 Years of Treasury experience in a corporate setting or privately equity owned business is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills with an ability to organize, synthesize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a field combining quantitative analysis and critical thinking, such as Economics or Finance
- Strong facility with core Microsoft products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with competency in Visual Basic or other skills being an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and a strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
- Fluency in a primary European or Asian language besides English is advantageous but not a requirement.
Salary : $135,000 - $175,000
