Vice President – Property Management
Location: Atlanta, GA
Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 Base Bonus (~20%) Benefits
A newly created Vice President of Property Management role has arisen with a rapidly growing residential and commercial real estate firm in the Atlanta region. Partnering closely with the Managing Director, this business-critical role will form an integral part of the leadership team and will be instrumental in driving profitability within their portfolio, and on behalf of stakeholders.
About the Vice President – Property Management role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximizing Portfolio Profitability: Lead efforts to maximize the profitability of the property portfolio in alignment with business plans
- Business Plan Implementation: Ensure the implementation of business plans related to property management operations
- Budget Management: Assure that property expenditures are within budget and properly approved
- Team Development: Train and develop the In-house and 3rd Party Management teams
- Capital Improvement Projects: Identify, discuss, plan, and negotiate with vendors to complete necessary capital improvement projects for the properties
- Accountability: Take accountability for all business, financial, and management aspects of the assigned portfolio; this includes preparing, implementing, and adhering to an approved strategic plan and budget, as well as maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Revenue Maximization: Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue for each property
Key Requirements:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in any business-related field is required
- Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of leadership experience in Atlanta residential property management is essential; lease-up experience required
- Financial Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in financial accounting within residential real estate, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Project Management: Hands-on experience with capital improvement construction projects, including the ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders
