Bid Director

We are seeking a seasoned Bid Director to lead the development and delivery of a compliant, compelling, and competitive proposal for the Boston Commuter Rail O&M contract. Your expertise will position our client as the preferred long-term partner for MBTA, shaping the future of rail operations in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategy development and align multi-disciplinary workstreams.
• Manage governance, compliance, and reporting to ensure bid success.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead a high-performing team to deliver excellence under pressure.

Skills and Experience:

• 15 years in large-scale project management.
• 8 years navigating complex procurement processes and leading bids.
• Experience in leading RFI/RFQ and RFP processes
• A good understanding of rail operation or rail related engineering (interface management, signalling, civil infrastructure, power supply, rolling stock)
• Exceptional leadership, commercial acumen, and problem-solving skills.

Location: This role is based full-time in Boston, MA

Remuneration: The package includes a base salary of $225,000 – $300,000, plus a competitive benefits package.
