Job Description
At CoBank, our Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) primarily supports the CEO while working with a team of administrative professionals serving the bank’s executive team. The Assistant works closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure that the executive office receives the highest level of administrative and personal support. Administrative support areas will include: calendar management, meeting planning and coordination, executive correspondence, travel calendar management, travel expense reporting, budgetary planning and control, and special project support as assigned. The position also entails a level of personal support, as needed, in order to maximize the efficiency of the CEO's time.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 10 or more years of administrative/secretarial experience, including 5 years of support of CEO executive; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in general business or administrative training.
- Advanced level competency with computer applications and software, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Intermediate level competency with Excel.
- Strong proficiency in copy editing and proofreading.
- Advanced interpersonal communications, leadership, planning and organizational skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively and act as a liaison with all levels of staff and management, customers and other outside parties.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, effectively managing competing priorities and challenging timelines, under limited supervision.
Compensation Information
- Estimated Base Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000
- Target short-term incentive opportunity:13%
