Organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work: prioritizes and schedules work activities in order to meet objectives; ensures that subordinates have the proper resources needed to complete the assigned work; monitors work in progress and inspects completed work; consults with assigned staff to assist with complex/problem situations and provide technical expertise; and provides progress and activity reports to management.
Coordinates the daily operation of multiple court support units or a large court division: monitors, evaluates, and implements court operations and procedures of assigned units or division; and assists in the implementation of changes in procedures related to new laws and regulations governing court operations.
Supervises and participates in records and reporting activities according to department/division functions: enters information into departmental database, such as legal information, charges and convictions; supervises, monitors, and prepares record retention schedules; coordinates the storage of court records; and approves the release of court related documents prepared by staff
Coordinates calendar dates for assigned judge: schedules and confirms appointments, meetings, hearings, court dates or other activities; updates calendar on a regular basis and notifies parties involved of changes; and oversees the generation of defendants' court notices.
Supervises the providing of and provides customer service to internal and external customers: answers telephone and greets walk in customers; provides information and assistance with filing of documents and court procedures; investigates and resolves problems related to court services; and directs customers to other departments or individuals as needed.
May assist with the preparation and administration of assigned court division budget as required: and monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budget.
Coordinates and supervises special court programs as required: and prepares reports on court programs, activities, projects, and the future direction of certain court processes.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, or related field required; supplemented by three years of experience supporting court services and programs; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Preferred Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, legal studies, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in legal administration or court operations, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in legal case management systems (e.g., Tracker) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate case management and financial software systems.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents and reports.
• Experience in developing structured reports for management.
• Capable of ordering office supplies and managing procurement processes.
• Familiarity with financial software systems to process payments and manage transactions.
Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station.
Sensory Requirements
Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.

Salary : $60,202 - $78,263
