We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Real Estate Closing Attorney to manage residential real estate transactions from contract review to closing. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of South Carolina real estate law, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in South Carolina.
- 3-5 years of experience in residential real estate law, including handling closings and title issues.
- Strong knowledge of South Carolina real estate law and legal documents.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee residential real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with South Carolina laws.
- Review and negotiate contracts, conduct title searches, and resolve title issues.
- Prepare, review, and explain closing documents (deeds, closing statements, etc.).
- Coordinate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth closings.
- Advise clients on their rights, obligations, and closing processes.
- Manage escrow and disbursement of funds and maintain organized records for all transactions.
- All other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
