Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication within the team. Duties
- Manage office operations, including scheduling, clerical tasks, and file management to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and improve overall office performance.
- Oversee human resources functions, including onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team, ensuring that all members are informed about schedules, meetings, and office policies.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and digital documents to ensure easy access to information.
- Supervise clerical staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their productivity.
- Handle phone etiquette professionally while managing incoming calls and inquiries.
- Supervise Quick Books customer files and banking
- Supervise Permitting procedures including NOC and follow up
Skills
- Strong training development capabilities to create effective learning programs for staff.
- Experience in Quick Books (customer estimates and invoicing)
- Experience in Quick Books in Banking deposits.
- Experience in Word, and Excel , completing letters, forms and documentation
- Experience with counties regarding permit procedures.
- Experience in payroll reporting, completing forms
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals.
- Proficient in clerical tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions among team members.
- Knowledge of human resources processes for hiring, filing out applicantions
- Ability to manage schedules effectively, ensuring optimal use of time for all team members.
