Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning, maintenance, and general upkeep of all spaces
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as stripping and waxing floors.
- Conduct custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, and replenishing supplies.
- Carry out facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, and entryways to ensure a positive first impression.
- Execute floor care procedures such as buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance the appearance of facilities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects as needed.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
