Job Details:
This position could be responsible for maintaining production database, keeping official records and executing administrative work and policies. Responsibilities include handling routine inquires or requests, directing calls or taking messages, greeting or directing visitors, permitting authorized persons to enter property, compiles and maintains control records and related files for flock certification and blood testing, maintains records for processing requirements, and is responsible for supply inventory control. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience : Three (3) plus years related experience.
Computer Skills : Competent use of Microsoft Office
Specialized Skills: Valid Driver's License required. Bilingual preferred
Physical Requirements: Must use safe lifting techniques. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment: Safety goggles, rubber boots, and gloves and earplugs will be used as needed.
Biosecurity Requirements: The jobsite is a biosecurity environment which requires showering before entering the facility and could require multiple showers during the work day. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species chickens ducks and birds . The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times; must be willing to follow the guidelines in the Pedigree Biosecurity Standards. Training will be provided to each Team Member specific to their job and their facility location in addition to signing an acknowledgement form they understand these expectations.
It is considered an essential function of each job for a Team Member to wear the company issued facial coverings. If a Team Member indicates they will not wear the mask, they will not be considered for the position in which they are applying or any position that requires the facial covering. If a Team Member has a medical condition or disability that prevents them from wearing the mask, Cobb will engage in an interactive process to determine whether a reasonable accommodation can be provided that addresses the safety concerns associated with the Pandemic and allow the Team Member to perform the essential functions of the job.
