Cobblestone Creek Country Club is excited to announce an opening for a Groundskeeper position. The Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Must possess the ability design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course
- Experience with operating greens/fairway mowers preferred
- Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping
- Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations
- Ability to give oral and written instructions
- Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation
- Must be dependable
Responsibilities:
- Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
- Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas
- Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
- Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed
- Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
- Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
- Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
Salary : $16 - $18
