What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent position at Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Ottumwa?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Register guests and assign rooms, ensuring all necessary information is obtained
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests or transfer calls to appropriate departments
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Provide recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and services
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, work on laundry as it comes down from guest rooms.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for reservations and guest management

Note: Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
