The Cobblestone Inn & Suites Eads, CO is looking for a highly enthusiastic, hands-on individual to join our team as General Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be highly ambitious, detailed oriented, and be able to work in a fast-paced setting. Individuals must be able to work in a collaborative, team environment. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced customer service professional who is able to build strong relationships with guests and the hotel team. This position includes all aspects of Hotel operations including:
- Manage day-to-day staffing needs, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to improve team member performance
- Educate and train team members in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and safety regulations. Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties
- Ensure your team is properly trained on systems, security, service, and quality standards
- Oversee night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports
- Oversee hotel staffing to include recruitment & selection, orientation, training & development, scheduling, performance management, and other employee relations issues.
- Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance performance.
- Demonstrate brand citizenship by maintaining compliance with all required brand and service standards, and license agreement mandates.
- Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals. Collaborate with colleagues and hotel team members to establish and implement services and programs that meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Make time to interact with guests, solicit feedback and build relationships.
- Handle and provide resolutions to guest complaints and team member issues.
- Ensure rooms are 100% clean and properly prepared so our guests are comfortable, and can work and rest.
- Oversee maintenance projects and preventative maintenance plans.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and hotel assets in compliance with the hotel’s or owner’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain relations with outside contacts
- Build key partnerships within the community that align with our brand values
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,500.00 per year
