Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to oversee the daily operations of our 45-guestroom Cobblestone Inn & Suites limited service hotel in Fremont, WI. The ideal candidate would be motivated, driven, have a background in hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, budgets, and guest relations while ensuring that the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.
Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
- Act as and fill in staff roles when short staffed and/or to maintain budget restraints.
- Ensure compliance with company and brand standards, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and manage hotel expenses to align with budget goals.
- Ability to understand profit and loss statement, budgets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank deposits, inventories, and general accounting procedures.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory and supply management.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by addressing guest concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain quality standards in guest rooms, public areas, and amenities.
- Monitor guest feedback through reviews and surveys, and implement improvements based on feedback.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Foster a positive, productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with departmental management.
- Inspect rooms daily to ensure that housekeeping maintains quality.
- Follow all labor laws in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Sales & Marketing:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive occupancy and revenue.
- Develop and implement local marketing strategies to attract guests.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Responsible for acquiring and maintaining a solid base of customers and accounts and for attaining a high occupancy and level of profitability.
- Develop and maintain rapport with competitive hotels, City Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, lead sources, clients, etc.
- Assists in training employees on proper upselling techniques.
Financial Management:
- Manage the hotel’s annual budget, ensuring revenue and expense goals are met.
- Analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions to improve profitability.
- · Audit and oversee the accuracy of all guest billing.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure the hotel complies with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain safety and security protocols to protect guests, employees, and property.
- Regularly inspect the property to ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
SYSTEMS:
Ability to gain the knowledge necessary to work with the following systems: Property Management System (Stayntouch), Central Reservations System (CRS), all-time clock systems, lock programming, audit, PBX phone system, Expedia, Booking.com, Agoda/Priceline, TACS, Shift4, TripAdvisor, Google.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
