CobbleStone’s software provides a commercial off-the-shelf licensed software product to manage the requisition, eProcurement, contract and obligation life cycle including bids, requisitions, approvals, contracts, tasks, milestones, and other committals.

Outbound prospecting to target the assigned market segment.

  • Consult with prospective customers regarding their current contract management process.
  • Educate customers on CobbleStone’s CLM, procurement, and vendor mgt software products.
  • Build relationships with decision makers from targeted companies.
  • Solicit and efficiently manage prospects in a range of industries.
  • Improve penetration within assigned segments using tools provided by CobbleStone.
  • Encourage and facilitate adoption of CobbleStone’s software including on professional social media, leveraging

materials generated by the marketing department.

  • Maintain clean data in CobbleStone’s CRM and tracking spreadsheets, including notes and appointments.
  • Facilitate appointments with senior sales representatives for software demonstrations and discovery calls.
  • Prospect into multiple organizations via targeted cold-calling, networking, e-mail/e-marketing, social media, and

utilizing Internet information sources.

  • Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to

prospecting call.

  • Develop leads into prospects by understanding their challenges/needs and effectively communicating our software

value.

  • Qualify and identify prospect needs by leveraging key contacts within an organization.
  • Identify high potential prospects and transition the qualified lead to the appropriate Sales representative for further follow-up/demo.
  • Document sales information in CRM following the approved process.
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company products and clearly articulate features &

benefits to prospective customers.

  • Responsible for making a specified minimum outbound calls and emails daily.
  • Accountable for meeting weekly goals and established metrics.
  • Utilize the sales tools provided.
  • Deliver activity reports to executive management.
  • Provide superior customer service.
  • Build and coach a team of BDRs to develop their sales skills including industry knowledge, planning, forecasting,

prospecting, execution, and other necessary skills, while maintaining individual accountability to goals.

  • Standard measurements will focus on leads generated, meetings scheduled, demos completed, actual sales

revenue, interaction with clients and prospective clients, sales growth, developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new leads.

  • Update the company on changing trends within the online sales environment so the organization can make and

adjust plans accordingly.

  • Provide superior customer service.
  • This is a quota carrying role responsible for driving prospects to our sales team for demonstrations and

partnerships. The representative will be responsible for meeting weekly goals and established metrics, utilizing the sales tools provided and delivering activity reports to management.

  • Standard measurements will focus on leads generated, meetings scheduled, demos completed, actual sales

revenue, time spent with prospects, interaction with clients and prospective clients, sales growth, developing and

maintaining a strong pipeline of new leads.

  • Contribute directly to Cobblestone’s direct sales initiative through daily outbound activity using training, materials,

tools, and support from the sales team.

  • Report to the BDR Manager or equivalent
  • Support presentations remotely and in-person. Travel may be required.

Knowledge & Requirements

  • A professional with prior experience in vendor management, supplier management, procurement, purchasing, supply chain, legal compliance, contracts analyst, contract manager, or assistant to specified roles is a plus
  • Experience in sales helpful
  • Knowledge of computers and computer software required
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willing and able to travel for sales and marketing tasks
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to position solution and products effectively
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university in business, supply chain, sales/marketing or a related discipline; alternatively, extensive and relevant business experience/track record will be considered· Provide superior customer service.
