Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real-World Evidence (RWE) Associate to join our consulting team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of RWE studies that inform decision-making for our clients in the pharmaceutical industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, derive insights, and contribute to the strategic direction of projects.
Preferred to be onsite at least 3 days a week, open to remote candidates if qualified.
Key Responsibilities
- Data analysis: conduct analyses of real-world data (RWD) from various sources, including electronic health records (EHRs), claims data, and registries to support RWE studies.
- Study design: collaborate with senior team members to design RWE studies, including observational studies, post-marketing evaluations, and comparative analyses.
- Literature review: perform comprehensive literature reviews to gather background information and contextualize findings within existing research.
- Report & Medical Writing: prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and publications to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.Medical Writing experience preferred.
- Client interactions: assist in the preparation of client meetings and presentations, providing support in articulating the value of RWE methodologies.
- Project management: support project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
- Cross-functional collaboration: work with other function internally to ensure the successful execution of RWE projects.
Qualifications
- Education: MPH or MSc in Health Outcomes Research, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Policy, Health Economics or related field; PhD or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in RWE, health economics, outcomes research, or related fields.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, Python, R).
- Analytical skills: strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Team player: ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Other Job Requirements
The job could include travel 10-20% for client meetings.
