Position:  Executive Advisor, Senior – FAA (Part-Time)

 

Function: Executive Advisor

 

Allocation: Part-Time (about 15 hours a week)

 

Location: Remote

 

Remote Work Option: Yes

 

Security Requirements

Must be a US citizen or a legal resident for three of the past five years. Public Trust cannot be granted without meeting the residency requirement.

Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance (moderate risk), including a soft credit check and criminal background check. Please refer to the criteria listed in
5 CFR 731.202 to understand the Public Trust suitability requirements.

Job Summary

 

This position will provide strategic guidance and expert counsel to the executive leadership team. This role is responsible for advising on business strategies, operational improvements, and key decision-making processes.

 

Relevant Experience

 

At least 20 years of relevant experience in program management and/or administrative support. FAA Experience is required.

 

Essential Job Functions

Strategic Advisory for Program Success

  • Provide guidance on developing and implementing program-specific strategies aligned with Cobec’s goals.
  • Act as a sounding board for senior leaders, offering insights to refine decision-making processes.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to maximize synergy and efficiency.

 

Revenue Generation through Collaboration

  • Identify and pursue revenue opportunities while fostering a culture of innovation within the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with managers to uncover new revenue streams and market opportunities.
  • Guide teams in creating innovative proposal solutions.
  • Explore opportunities with Federal, State, Local, Commercial, and other organziations.
  • Develop strategies for upcoming business and contract opportunities.
  • Support Cobec’s efforts to strengthen current B2B relationships and establish new partnerships.

 

Executive Leadership Development and Coaching

  • Strengthen the senior leadership team’s ability to execute strategic objectives and lead their respective departments effectively.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with managers to enhance leadership competencies.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions focused on strategic planning, operational efficiency, and team management.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability frameworks for each leader to drive measurable success.

 

Organizational Development and Culture Building

  • Build a robust leadership pipeline and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Design a structured leadership development program to identify and nurture emerging talent within the organization.
  • Partner with managers to cultivate a culture aligned with the company’s values and strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate ongoing feedback loops to assess leadership effectiveness and organizational health.

 

Performance Monitoring and Adjustments

  • Ensure continuous alignment of leadership efforts with company priorities and market dynamics.
  • Regularly review departmental performance and provide actionable recommendations to managers.
  • Adjust role focus and responsibilities as the company’s needs evolve.
  • Maintain alignment with the CEO’s vision and provide periodic updates on leadership progress and organizational outcomes.

 

 

Education Requirements

 

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

Master’s degree is a plus and may count as additional years of experience.

 

Skills Requirements

 

  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic guidance to executive leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate strategy, financial analysis, and business development to drive operational improvements and revenue growth.
  • Proven track record of advising and influencing senior executives, optimizing decision-making, and enhancing organizational effectiveness.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess risks, identify opportunities, and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration, mentor leadership, and drive cross-departmental alignment.
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills, ensuring efficient prioritization of strategic initiatives and leadership development efforts.

Must meet eligibility requirements for a Top Secret Security clearance

 

Travel

Occasional travel required as needed by client/s and/or company
