- Supervision of yard loader operators and helpers of all shifts
- Manage employee schedules for all shifts
- Ensure all safety components are met for both self and direct reports, utilizing the sites safety program
- Responsible for inventory control, payroll, and preparing and submitting daily and weekly reports
- Commitment to top performance in a safe work environment is a necessary
- Work with site leadership on site initiatives
- Work with St. John transportation and sales group to move inventory out to market
- Managing employee training
- Education / Experience: Relevant Trade Certification or Associate's Degree, or a combination of education and 3 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Strong people management skills
- Mechanical knowledge is an asset
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards are considered an asset
- Ability to prioritize tasks to consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team and participate in cross-functional team environments inside and outside of the company
