We are looking for a candidate to add to our Quality Assurance department and join our growing team within our manufacturing facility. Candidate should possess a positive attitude, be willing to work independently as well as with all members of the team. Candidate should be communicative, have strong leadership skills, be energetic and punctual. Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma
- Advanced leadership skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Quality
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 standard
- Experience using handheld measuring and testing devices e.g., digital multimeter, caliper, micrometers, radius gages, etc
- Knowledge of Quality 8D
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language
- Computer skills, Microsoft Excel
- Good vision
Job Duties:
Included but not limited to:
- Check the availability of Work Instructions and Technical Instructions for every COBO Work Center and duty. With the help of Industrialization and Production Supervisors draft the missed and needed instructions.
- Verify daily that every Production Work Center will have a work instruction available, updated and enforced during everyday production.
- Verify that the manufactured products meet the company quality standards.
- Ensure that every production employee goes through the proper training process and understanding of the pertinent work instruction before independently performing any job.
- Keep the Competency Matrix updated and notify management of any shortage of workers capable to do a specific task.
- Write internal corrective actions (CAR Corrective Actions Reports) and quality 8D for customers.
- Make sure, with the help of the Quality Inspectors, that the quality alters, quality holds and quality announces are properly and promptly issued and posted. This includes Quality Board updates.
- Verify that our tools and machines go through the scheduled calibration and maintenance.
- Make sure that purchasing introduces the new suppliers following the Supplier Validation Procedure (Questionnaire and Management approval).
- Monitor all the new COBO USA components and ensure p/n will go through PPAP and Material Composition request to the supplier. Check the status with the Material Composition COBO USA team.
