Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Finance and Administrative Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will document the company’s financial transactions, assist with the preparation of financial statements, and review payroll entry transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of the best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities
- Enter financial data and transactions
- Analyze budgets and other financial information.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports and statements for local group entities and to headquarter
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist tax advisors with information, documentation and reports required for the timely filing of corporate taxes
- Support various departments with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Previous experience in Accounting/Finance and Administration
- 3-5 years of experience in related field
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, and other accounting systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in Spanish a plus, but not required
