- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment to administer prescribed treatment plans.
- Accurately position patients and ensure their safety and comfort during treatment.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients about their treatment procedures and address any concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiation therapy techniques and equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
- Valid state licensure (if required by the state).
- Prior experience in a clinical radiation oncology setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
