What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist position at COBRE VALLEY REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER?
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Medical Director and Department Director, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician=s orders, department policies and procedures. The Respiratory Therapist adheres to the principles, philosophy and mission of Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in all aspects of job performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of an AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy Technician/Therapist program
CRTT or RRT certification; currently licensed in the State of Arizona
BLS/CPR, NALS, ACLS certification required, PALS preferred.
One-year experience in an acute care hospital preferred
