COBS Bread are looking for Full & Part-Time Bakers to join our Riverside, CT location. Bakers and Production Manager roles available.

Shift times run from 3am to 11am.

Some experience as a Bread Baker is ideal but full training available to those with the right attitude. Some food industry experience is helpful but reliability and a positive can-do attitude are the most important attributes we seek. Immediate start available.

As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will:

• Work as part of a small team to bake products from scratch early each morning, following carefully crafted recipes
• Be responsible for reading production schedules and recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients, molding and shaping dough, and processing everything through the ovens
• You'll also work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and provide delightful customer service.

Requirements

• You’re a morning person as some shifts start as early as 3am
• You have your own transportation as your shifts will often start earlier than public transit is available
• You have a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong sense of urgency.
• Weekend work is a requirement as is work on public holidays.
• Possess or willing to complete Food Safe Certifications

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing/ walking for all tasks
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25lbs., occasional lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
• Frequent turning and reaching
• Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping
• Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending
