Summary:
CoBuild Construction Services’ Project Engineer is responsible for managing construction administrative tasks for a variety of tenant improvement to complete the work on with Project Management team on time and on budget consistent with the Policy and Procedures of CoBuild Construction Services, Inc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
General
· Lead the bid process with estimators
· Project paperwork upkeep
· COIs
· Contract setup
· Change orders
· Collecting submittals
· Manage drawings and updates on changes
· Take meeting minutes
· Entering any job costs materials and labor
· Collect close out documents on job
· Acquire rentals for job site (containers, fencing, dumpsters, portables, etc.)
· Work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent
Management/Administrative
· Establish and maintain essential subcontractor and vendor resources
· Utilized ProCore Project Management system.
· Establish appropriate project management systems for request for information, clarifications, change order requests & submittals
Leadership & Management Capabilities
· Understand and advance CoBuild Construction’s corporate goals and objectives
· Manage work to provide exceptional customer service
· Solicit and develop good working relationship with a variety of qualified subcontractors and vendors
· Quality and accurate work product delivered consistently on-time
· Works independently with little supervision of work product required by supervisor
· Uses sound judgment in decision making responsibilities

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
Internet software, E-mail (Outlook), moderate to advanced MS Word, Project and Excel spreadsheet capability. Bluebeam & Web based programs and applications (i.e. Procore, smart sheets, building connected, etc.)
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to LED monitors. Working extended hours may be required as needed.
