Development Project Manager

Coburn Place
Indianapolis, IN Full Time
POSTED ON 4/15/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/2/2025

WHO WE ARE: We offer compassionate support and safe housing choices for survivors of domestic violence and their children. We specialize in fresh starts – letting survivors lead the way in creating their own paths forward. We serve everyone – cis women and men and transgender and nonbinary people– because everyone is welcome, everyone belongs.

The Development Project Manager is a key connector and project manager in the Development team, responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing Development events, inclusive of liaising with vendors, coordinating and overseeing volunteers for events, managing set-up and tear-down of the event, and working with engagement to table events. In addition, the incumbent will manage the data process for events in our supporter relations system, inclusive of data entry before and after events, collecting information from supporters during events, and troubleshooting any system related concerns internally. They will act as a support to the Senior Director of Development, Engagement Director, and Community Resource Manager. They serve as a key liaison between the Development, Mission Impact, and Operations departments, connecting and building partnerships with supporters, community partners, and internal stakeholders. They update the Coburn Place calendar with Development events and work closely alongside the Operations team on following expense budgets.

The right person for this role will be meticulous, organized, and a person who is driven to start projects independently as well as see them through to execution. A person will thrive in this role if they are primarily motivated by collaboration, relationships, inclusion, and puzzle-solving. This is a support role that touches all departments and many aspects of Development in particular, and the right candidate will be an impact player, a natural helper, someone who can develop new events as well as look for gaps to help support key projects, roles, and department goals. They will be friendly, approachable, extremely reliable, and have a trauma-informed and compassionate communication style that reflects the needs of the mission and survivors Coburn Place serves.
