- Class A CDL Driver incentive program with the potential to earn up to $2000 annual bonus compensation based off of job performance, attendance and safety record.Job DescriptionThe Driver - Cross Dock is a non touch freight position and responsible for driving tractor and trailer to transport and deliver products from the distribution center to the sales center.What your day will look like :
- Completes pre-trip and post trip inspections
- Drives tractor trailers between sales centers
- Operate a forklift
- Assist Warehouse department with loading and unloading of trucksWhat you need to succeed :
- Minimum age 21 years old
- Class A Commercial Valid Driver's License required, and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Ability to obtain Doubles Endorsement within 30-45 days of hire date, if applicable
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 12 months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to become forklift certified
- Frequent exposure to chemicals, noise, and frequent sitting (chemical exposure may change depending on location)
- Ability to provide quality management
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
